David H. Brill is the former General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Gemini Trust Company. Prior to Gemini, Mr. Brill was EVP & General Counsel of American Stock Transfer & Trust Company where he led a team of legal and compliance professionals. Before AST, David spent seven years with Thomson Reuters and worked in several capacities, including as a member of the Corporate Services Executive Team and as Vice President and Principal Legal Counsel.
David is the former chair of the Corporate and Securities Committee of the Greater New York Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel and also served as its Past President, where as President he led the chapter to winning Chapter of the Year. He also served as Past President of the Young Professionals Committee, Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City. David is a frequent writer and speaker on FinTech, bitcoin, law department management, securities, and cryptocurrency matters. Mr. Brill has been interviewed and quoted in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, the New York Law Journal and American Lawyer among others.
